ARCHITECTURE & TOWN PLANNING DEPARTMENT
Architecture and Town planning department is one of the key departments within Inter-Consult setup that provides consultancy services on architectural and allied areas with established reputation for delivering buildings designed with skill and appropriate innovation. Our schemes arise from close client collaboration and sophisticated responses to contexts and functions.
We design architecture that is based on strong ideas following our intricate philosophy built on creativity and imagination. Our designs are propelled by ideas that will produce buildings of outstanding architectural clarity, character and usefulness. We produce architecture whose details articulate the fundamental design idea to add something distinctive to the quality of places and lives. Our design process is imaginative, with character and highly communicative and we strive to create architecture that expresses the key qualities of excellence and inspiration with client involvement a major facet of the design process.
Upon obtaining project briefs from clients, we examine the site to discover its limitations and possibilities, and then consider these features alongside the environmental, geographic, cultural, and behavioural context before offering design concepts to our clients. Once a selection is made, we begin the research, experimentation, and creation. In the course of developing any scheme the department coordinates closely with other disciplines e.g. structural engineers, services engineers, quantity surveyors, etc to ensure that the client requirements are fully accommodated in order to optimize function, quality and cost. Upon receipt of client’s approval of the submitted sketches, the department prepares working drawings incorporating all the client’s needs at the same time liaise with other departments for incorporating their specialist inputs in the project.
During the construction stage the department oversees construction supervision through to delivery of the project.
